Short Hills/Summit Golf

But if the game is what matters to you, you’ll enjoy getting the speed of the greens while you chat with other golfers who share your enthusiasm for the game. Keeping company with scratch golfers, whether you are one or not, will naturally ensure that your game continues to improve. 

If you doubt that New Jersey has what it takes to please you as a golfer, consider these facts: 

• David Chmiel, editor in chief of Senior Golfer magazine and author of several books on golfing lives in nearby Maplewood
• The annual PGA Championships were held in New Jersey in 2004

Successful people represent the greater part of the Short Hills/Summit area community, and it’s no secret that high achievers overwhelmingly choose golf as a medium for letting off steam and getting some exercise. Take the Orange Lawn Tennis club, which was founded in 1880. The facilities are unmatched, and you will find yourself in the best of company.
